Robert (Bob) Costanza and his Canberra laboratory, one of the founding members of The Michel Serres Institute, has just published together with experts from a diverse array of fields the comment-article in Nature entitled ’Time to leave GDP behind’. And one conclusion is : "GDP is dangerously inadequate as a measure of quality of life.”
